Nicole Argueta

Piano Teacher

Hey there! My name’s Nicole Argueta and I’m super excited to be teaching piano! My love for
music started 16 years ago when my mom decided it was time for me to learn to play. I quickly
learned to love mastering new pieces and it wasn’t long before my mom was grounding me from
playing the piano as a punishment because I loved it so much.

Once I got to middle school and high school I learned to play the trumpet, the french horn and the cello. I also had the opportunity to compete in the NFMC piano solo festival and I earned my 90 point gold cup after competing for 10 years.

I will be attending SUU for the next couple of years to earn my bachelor’s degree in exercise
science. Besides playing the piano I love playing soccer and I played soccer for Snow College
for two years.

I also enjoy hiking, rock climbing, camping, fishing, or playing any sport. I believe that music is an escape from reality and learning to play the piano can be an inspiring and empowering process. Learning to play should be a fun and exciting process and I can’t wait to facilitate that for my students!
